These days you can’t move in Manchester for all the foodie events to gorge on, and firm favourites like Odd Bar’s mobile kitchen are the reliable palate rousers that keep Manchester Food and Drink Festival ahead of the pack. Leading the way on their burger-fuelled menu is the special Festival Burger, which fuses a firey mouthful with red chillies, chilli slaw and sauce of fire all competing with the meaty munch of double cheese burger and pulled pork. As a vegetarian option, they’re cooking up their chipotle marinated Looney Halloumi Burger, adorned with peppers, salsa and slaw between the buns. The chefs at Odd promise to spoil you for choice, with the Swiss cheesed Cubano burger among the other recipes in their festival repertoire, so head to Albert Square this week to fill your belly.
