Manchester-based contemporary photography and visual culture magazine Of The Afternoon is currently sold on newsstands across the UK and Europe, as well as galleries including Tate Modern, MoMA in New York and MoCA in Los Angeles. For the launch of its fifth issue, though, it will be celebrating a little closer to home with a temporary take over of Twenty Twenty Two. The one-off exhibition will feature work from over 40 international photographers, whittled down from over 600 artists who submitted photos to their open call in the last issue. Showcasing these artists alongside hand-picked photographers from across the North West, Of The Morning hopes this will be the first of many pop-up exhibitions that shine a light on the burgeoning photography scene in the city and beyond.
