The team at Zouk have unveiled their brand-new summer menu, featuring tried and tested authentic classics and a few unlikely but delicious-sounding surprises.

Along with the restaurant’s usual blend of Indian and Pakistani staples, including traditional Chicken Patties and Mumbai Spiced Corn, Zouk has added a handful of Indo-Chinese fusion plates such as the spicy Gobi Manchurian and Hakka Noodles.

Also among the new seasonal main courses are a decadent-sounding Chicken Cheese Karahi, Zouk’s riff on the fan-favourite curry which incorporates heaps of melted cheddar cheese, and a Salmon Kaalvan, a Maharashtrian-style fish curry made with tender fillet of salmon in a spiced coconut sauce.

Another eye-catcher comes via the new dessert section, in the shape of the Chocolate Samosa — the usual filo pastry only this time packed with chocolate and hazelnuts and served with a dipping sauce. The Mango Kanufa too, a Middle Eastern layered treat with fresh mango, vermicelli noodles and whipped cream.
