With Christmas time almost here, United We Steam is planning to host four massive virtual shows to keep the winter blues at bay. The Greater Manchester streaming platform designed for those missing the dance floor will return in the coming weeks with an upcoming series of broadcasts.

Though online only, their first event is shaped up to be a great stand-in for what might have been your Mad Friday night out on Friday 18 December. There’ll then be three more festive events to join in with from home. Viewers can expect streams on Saturday 19 December, Boxing Day and what promises to be the biggest New Year’s Eve line up in the UK.

These events will raise money for Greater Manchester mayor Andy Burnham’s oneGM initiative which supports the people worst afflicted by the economic impact of COVID-19 in Greater Manchester. The events will be free to watch, though donations are gratefully accepted. While official line-ups are yet to be revealed, you can keep up to date on their progress by visiting the United We Stream website.
