You might have noticed that Cafe Muse at Manchester Museum is closed for a refit – and a rejig – thanks to the franchise being taken over by Teacup of Northern Quarter fame. The brand, which is co-owned by DJ and tea aficionado, Mr Scruff, also has a stake in Proper Tea at Manchester Cathedral – and now they have added Manchester Museum to their list of venues. As at other Teacup operations, diners can expect tea that costs upwards of £4 and slices of cake coming in at the same price or more in cutesy surrounds. Eggs Benedict at the NQ branch costs £8.50, while beans on toast is £7. Watch this space for more menu details soon.
