Pizza perfectionists Franco Manca have their eyes on set on Manchester with news of a new branch opening in the city. Job adverts have appeared online for an assistant manager at a brand new Manchester branch and the location has finally been revealed…. in the former Lloyds Bank branch at 12 Moseley Street, next to Primark on Piccadilly Gardens. Still a relatively new chain, Franco Manca was founded in Brixton in 2008 and has been hugely successful in London, offering excellent Neapolitan sourdough pizza with high quality ingredients and low prices. Seasonally changing menus offer excellent sourdough pizzas starting from £5, cocktails from £5.50 and their famed ‘No Logo’ beer from £3.85. The restaurant have over 40 locations open in the UK, but so far haven’t made it further north than Cambridge.
