The White Hotel’s sister venue, P3 Annihilation Eve (formerly Peste), hosts a unique live audiovisual literary-musical performance later this month.
Offal Industries Presents: CLONES, DRONES AND BELLYACHES will include an in-person reading by Mark Blacklock (I’m Jack, Hinton), as well as AI voice-clone appearances from several late public figures, all accompanied by live Powerpoint visuals by Autonomous Bosch.
The one-off live show will feature the anonymous voice pirates behind cult audio-zine OFFAL and their troupe of AI-created voice actors, including ‘some that may or may not present a passing resemblance to Alan Rickman, Virginia Woolf, Richard Burton, Mike Reid and Queen Elizabeth I.’
They will perform original works by actual humans including Max Porter, Ned Beauman and Gemma Anderson over a live-mixed soundtrack of oblique electronica and rave bangers, all for the price of a Ginsters Steak Bake.
Want to get involved, you can submit your own voice sample in advance and you could be featured in the night’s performance. Send 30 seconds of clean audio to offalindustries@gmail.com and you could make an appearance.
Offal Industries Presents: CLONES, DRONES AND BELLYACHESΒ comes to P3 Annihilation Eve on Fri 24 Jan. Doors are at 7pm and entry is just 20p.
