If you’re stuck for somewhere to take your significant other on Valentine’s Day, then here’s some advice: nothing says ‘romance’ like Radiohead – and their drummer, Philip Selway, is headlining the Deaf Institute. He first stepped out from behind the drum kit, and out of Thom Yorke’s shadow, in 2010 with his debut solo album Familial. The record featured plaintive ballads, with Selway on vocals and acoustic guitarist. Last year’s acclaimed The Weatherhouse, meanwhile, was more of a ‘Head-y brew, furnished with synthesisers and drum loops.
