This week, Pilot Theatre brings its vibrant, inspiring and deeply poignant adaptation of Manjeet Mann’s triumphant novel Run, Rebel to Lowry.

Running until Sat 2 Nov, the electrifying production offers a spellbinding blend of physical theatre, show-stopping visuals and an acclaimed ensemble cast to breathe new life into the revolutionary story of Amber, a young girl suffocated by her family’s oppressive rules and exacting demands, and hamstrung by her own fears.

When she hits the running track however, she is liberated, racing towards freedom and self-acceptance with her mercurial talent for speed.

Billed as a transformative tale of revolution, empowerment and courage, Pilot’s soaring interpretation of Mann’s multiple award-winning verse novel promises an uplifting, unforgettable experience for theatre-lovers aged 11 and above.
