If the Ancient Mayans are to be believed then the world will end on Friday 21 December. It’s probably not going to happen, but what if it did? You’d look pretty stupid then. And also be dead. So what better setting for an end-of-the-world party than ‘the Bunker’ in Salford. Heading the charge into the unknown post-apocalyptic (probably) world are Manchester quartet PINS. After a very successful year, they head back to where they supported Savages back in May. This time they will be headlining their own survivors party for those smart enough to believe in a 5000-year-old prediction. They will be supported by Female Band and ‘king DJ (a solo outing from Brown Brogues’ Mark Vernon). With a great line-up and a setting fit for the ensuing armageddon, it’s a show not to be missed. Take someone you’d be willing to procreate with – the fate of the human race may depend upon it.
