Comprised of four intensely talented females, Manchester band Pins’ shows to date have been met with hysteria, sobbing – and an old-fashioned label-bidding war. They’ve finally signed to indie stalwarts Bella Union (Beach House, Fleet Foxes, Wild Nothing), and you can check out some of their post-punk-rock stylings here. Their new EP, LuvU4Lyf, is out now. Compared to local luminaries Great Waves and Money, Pins are characterised by a harder sound that’s best experienced in the flesh.
