A free festival aiming to bring Manchester’s dog (and beer) lovers together is coming to Manchester this Saturday.
Taking over Angel Meadow Park from 11am-4pm, local favourites Blackjack Brewery will be on-hand with refreshing ‘doggy beer’, along with some lovely pours for the humans too.
Visitors can browse an array of pop-up stalls from some of Manchester’s best dog businesses, including All you need is Woof, Dog Cake Co, Woofly and KUB dogwear, and enjoy food and drinks from The Momo Boii, WWW Pizza and the Little Leopard Coffee Co.
A range of other activities will also be available for dogs to get their paws stuck into, including a doggy ball pit, a paddling pool and a puppy play area.
Proud dog parents can listen to a variety of talks hosted by experts such as the Guide Dogs North West, Holly Dwyer Pet Photography and A Dogs Way Training, to get tips on behaviour and training, along with stunning snaps of your pal to take home and remember their big day out.
The event has been arranged by Far East Consortium, developers specialising in pet-friendly living next to Angel Meadow.
Andrew Bradley-Nixon, sales and marketing director at FEC, said: “Events like Ex-Paw are a great way to bring the community together. The festival gives everyone a chance to bond over something we all love—our dogs—over a drink.”
“Angel Meadow Park is Manchester city centre’s largest green space, but lots of people simply don’t know it exists. Our Ex-paw festival is just the start of the many events we have planned this year!”
