Christmas is largely a time for thinking of others, but what about those that aren’t family or friends? For the third year running Pop Swap are giving staff, students and the local community the opportunity to give away unwanted items in exchange for something new (well, new to them). Fitting in with their Zero Waste campaign, un-swapped items will be donated to a brand new boutique charity shop, Goodstock, which will open on Oxford Road in the coming months. The shop will be staffed by disadvantaged 18-25 year olds with the aim to provide employability skills and experience, and will be opened by charity vInspired. Following the swap there will be a screening of the People’s Climate March film ‘Disruption. Climate. Change.’ in lecture theatre 3  in Geoffrey Manton at 6pm.
