Since NBC’s seminal comedy 30 Rock was cancelled, we’ve been struggling to fill that 25-minute gap it used to fill each week – so we can’t imagine what it has been like for the people who were actually involved in the making of it. Tracy Morgan was obviously getting a little bored of all the free time his new-found freedom has given him, as he’s returned to his stand-up roots, using the fame his sitcom role has given him to do his first ever UK dates. Though he’s hardly universally loved – the homophobic remarks he made in a set last year are a little hard to overlook, despite his profuse apologies – this should give comedy aficionados a chance to see a real stalwart of the American circuit in the flesh.
