Pride weekend is always one of the hottest tickets in Manchester and this year it has gotten even hotter with the early announcement that Rita Ora will be coming to Canal Street to headline the festival on the August Bank Holiday. Alongside Ora there is Jake Shears, Sigala, Alexandra Burke, Nadine Coyle and Lousie as well as club appearances from the likes of Pete Tong, Ana Matronic of Scissor Sisters and Danny Howard. Alongside these big names are the promises of immersive shows from Sink the Pink, Guilty Pleasures and Bongo’s Bingo to make this one Pride weekend you won’t soon forget. As well as these star names the Manchester Pride Festival is made up of The Big Weekend, The Manchester Pride Parade, The Candlelit Vigil and The Superbia Weekend and is an award-winning four day event celebrating LGBT+ life which continues to inspire and entertain.
