Neighbourhood Weekender returns to Warrington’s Victoria Park this weekend, with an impressive billing that includes none other than Britpop royalty, Pulp.

Jarvis Cocker and co delighted fans a few months back, announcing their long-awaited return to the live circuit in 2023, the group’s first shows in 11 years. They headline the festival on Sunday night, with the likes of Self Esteem, Anne-Marie, Sea Girls and Confidence Man also playing throughout the day.

Speaking about Pulp’s comeback, Jarvis Cocker says: “Three months ago, we asked, What exactly do you do for an encore? Well… An encore happens when the crowd makes enough noise to bring the band back to the stage. So… We are playing in the UK and Ireland in 2023. Therefore… Come along and make some noise. See you there.”

Saturday sees Paul Heaton with special guest Rianne Downey, and The Kooks co-headlining. Joining them are The Wombats, Ocean Colour Scene, Jamie Webster, Sugababes and The Enemy, among others.

Stage times for the weekend have just been released and can be found via the festival app.
