Seattle rapper/producer Grieves released his debut album Irreversible back in 2007. On the back of that he signed to well-respected independent label Rhymesayers (home to the likes of Dilated Peoples) and this month drops new LP Running Wild, an overwhelmingly more positive outlook than some of his previous work about addiction and poverty. He’s teamed up with Swedish producer Chords for a crisp, live sound as heard in newest single A-Okay. Support comes from Seattle’s Raz Simone. Head over to Deaf to give him a Manchester welcome as part of his European tour.
