LA-based fashion brand Reformation has announced plans to open a new store in Manchester.
In what will become the label’s sixth UK store and the first in the north of England, Reformation is set to arrive on King Street Tue 18 Aug.
Reformation King Street will offer a curated assortment of the brand’s apparel and accessories, including dresses, separates, denim, sweaters, shoes, bags and more.

The store will also feature Reformation’s tech-driven retail concept, Retail X, which brings the best of its online experience to its physical spaces. The team says the result is a more streamlined, customer-centric shopping experience. Here’s how it works:
- One of each item is placed on the floor to allow customers to more easily view and browse inventory.
- Touchscreens and QR codes are located throughout the store, enabling customers to build their dressing room digitally.
- Additional touchscreens are located in each dressing room so customers can order new sizes or styles as they try on.
Reformation Manchester was designed with sustainability in mind, prioritising green building infrastructure in its facilities to minimise its waste, water, and energy footprints and leveraging Green Business Certification standards across its global retail fleet.
In addition to offsetting 100% of the store’s electricity usage with renewable energy, its Manchester location features vintage furnishings, FSC-certified wood hangers and reusable deadstock totes.
