If you missed the action on the track at this summer’s Olympics then the Revolution league is your chance to experience all the excitement of the boards this winter. The league is an elite men’s and women’s competition that sees professional teams from across the UK, including riders from Team Sky, battle it out on the track in a number of events including the scratch race and team sprints. Expect to see the likes of Olympic gold medalist Ed Clancy and road race champion Lizzie Armitstead fight it out in the saddle, with round one taking place on Saturday 1 December. The league continues in Manchester on Saturday 5 January, and will have its grand finale at the newly opened Sir Chris Hoy Velodrome in Glasgow in February.
