On Sat 27 and Sun 28 Jan, the wildly popular Houseplant Weekend returns to RHS Garden Bridgewater with two days of talks, demonstrations, shopping and indoor gardening inspiration.

Promising to provide visitors with ‘the knowledge and expertise to turn your interest in houseplants into a hobby’, the delightful celebration of domestic botany features an array of drop-in plant advice clinics and demonstrations from the RHS Bridgewater team, as well as expert talks from Jason Williams, otherwise known as @cloudgardeneruk, who began developing his balcony garden on YouTube during lockdown and went on to work with RHS Chelsea and Tatton Flower Shows.

Elsewhere, Jo Adderley hosts a masterclass on caring for your cacti and other succulents, while you can join the Bridgewater team to create your own windowsill herb planter and discover how caring for houseplants can give your wellbeing a boost with Therapeutic Gardener, Ozichi Brewster.

Throughout the weekend, you can stop by the garden centre to browse RHS Bridgewater’s incredible selection of houseplants and buy one – or several – of your own to take home.

Normal garden admission applies, while RHS members go free. Booking required.

Book your time slot and keep an eye out for the full programme of events via the website.
