Riot Jazz top a stellar bill firmly shaped by homegrown talent at the Albert Hall later this month.
Combining the raw energy of a street parade with the precision of masterful musicianship, the incredible Riot Jazz have forged a fearsomely fun reputation as an electric live outfit.
Blending jazz, funk and unpredictable improvisation, Riot Jazz come to Albert Hall on Fri 30 Jan in what is their biggest hometown headline show yet. For one night only, the group will also be joined by much-loved local artist, writer, creative producer and broadcaster, Jenna G, on guest vocals.
Alongside the brass mayhem, crowd-pleasing DJs Johnny Scratchley (Gentlemen’s Dub Club), Rhod Parry, and DJ Roesh (BBC Introducing) will be spinning heavyweight sets to warm up the room and keep the energy going throughout the night.
Cooper T completes the lineup with a special live support performance, drawing from contemporary jazz, funk and forward-thinking grooves, interwoven with expressive solos and soulful melodies.
