If you fancy getting creative this weekend, why not try your hand at risograph printing? Risography is a stencil printing process, a cross between screen printing and photocopying, that produces bold colours and a contemporary look. Mono are a risograph and design collective based at Islington Mill and, from their studio workshop, participants will learn how it all  works and see printed examples of the work Mono are experimenting with. There will be the opportunity to create artwork with a computer, or by an analogue process with mark-making and cut and paste. The final designs will be printed as in A3 three-colour editions.

Sat 21 Jun, Islington Mill, James Street, Salford, M3 5HW. Tel: 0161 278 6404, 11am – 4pm, £30, www.printedbymono.co.uk
