Manchester’s Bad Language literature night breaks out of its regular home at The Castle Hotel to celebrate the launch of Rodge Glass’ new novel, Love, Sex, Travel, Music with Freight Books at The Bakerie Tasting Store. Following the success of his novel Bring Me The Head of Ryan Giggs (about Manchester United), Glass (pictured) has returned to the short story form, winning himself a place on the Frank O’Connor Short Story Award Longlist in the process. Joining him will be micro-fiction pioneer David Gaffney and Anneliese Mackintosh who has recently featured in Best British Short Stories 2013 (Salt). Both have earned repeated praise for their live literary performances. Expect a varied blend of stories and plenty of wine to drink at this full-bodied event.
