From July to September, Manchester Art Gallery will present a major solo exhibition from British conceptual artist Ryan Gander. Entitled ‘Make Every Show Like It’s Your Last’, the exhibition is a collection of the artist’s work previously unseen in the UK. This multimedia show will feature paintings, sculpture, photography, and slideshows. A centrepiece will be the video work Imagineering (still pictured), which is a fictional advertising campaign promoting imagination. Returning to the city where he studied for his degree, Gander has celebrated his connection to Manchester with the creation a new work exclusively for the city’s main art gallery.
