Italian stalwart Salvi’s has opened its latest spot, taking the shape of a restaurant, bar, deli and exhibition space within the unique setting of Deansgate Square.
Now open for walk-ins and bookings as part of a pre-launch phase, the opening coincides with the family-run Manchester favourite’s 10th anniversary in the city.
The new space comes complete with a weather-protected and heated terrace, offering much-needed shelter from the infamous Mancunian elements.
This site is the latest addition to the Salvi’s family, and will draw upon generations of culinary knowledge as it takes inspiration from each of its existing restaurants and deli, as well as owner Maurizio Cecco’s native Naples.
Salvi’s Deansgate Square also offers a variety of cuisine, from gelato to pizza via cicchetti, all alongside Italian wines, beers, spritz and a deli serving up the very best of authentic DOP produce.
During the initial soft-launch period the venue will be open from 12pm-11pm Monday to Saturday and 12pm-10pm on Sundays, while the team tests the menu ahead of the official launch in the coming weeks
