Sam Fender has confirmed he will play a huge outdoor gig at Manchester’s Wythenshawe Park this summer.

Fender is due to release his hugely anticipated third record People Watching later this month, and just recently delivered a couple of blockbuster nights at Co-op Live.

Support at Wythenshawe Park will come from neo-soul singer Olivia Dean, with further support acts to be announced soon.

The big announcement is the latest impressive booking since Wythenshawe Park was first transformed into an outdoor show space back in 2023, when Noel Gallagher debuted the arena.

Since then, New Order and Blossoms have both headlined the park, with Fontaines D.C. also set to perform there this summer, alongside Kneecap and English Teacher.

Sam Fender will perform at Wythenshawe Park on Sat 16 Aug. Fans can register and pre-order Sam’s new album to access presale tickets, which go on sale Tue 18 Feb at 11am. General sale tickets will follow on Fri 21 Feb at 10am.
