The lovely people behind the Save Hulme Hippodrome campaign host their spring festival this weekend.

Centred around bringing the local community together to unify over a joint cause, the campaign seeks to protect the cultural history of one of the city’s most poignant landmarks while also reimagining its future in Manchester.

The Hulme Hippodrome is an impressive Grade II listed Edwardian theatre just a mile away from the city centre. At a whopping 120 years old and still standing strong, a dedicated bunch are determined to bring this incredible building back into regular community use.

Head over to the Hulme Community Garden Centre for a jam-packed afternoon programme full of fun activities including live music and entertainment, some killer campaign merch, a Fun Bingo ode to the space’s 1960s heritage, stellar food and drink and so much more to be announced.

Pay what you can, get together with the local community and show up to support a great cause this March. We’ll see you there…
