Controversial author and theorist Will Self is confirmed as the next guest in Dave Haslam’s Close Up interview series. This strange concept sees Haslam, a man best known, perhaps, as a Hacienda DJ, chatting to important cultural and literature figures on stage. But to all intents and purposes, it’s a winner with previous guests that include Jonathan Franzen, Jeremy Deller and Jarvis Cocker.
