Malkin Tower Theatre Company welcomes May in with a reworking of Shakespeare’s classic comedy, Twelfth Night. An absurd exploration of grief and infatuation, the play tells the tale of Viola who, finding herself shipwrecked, disguises herself as a man named Cesario, resulting in all kinds of chaos as she becomes entangled with a whole host of characters. Performed within Victoria Baths – featuring its drained Edwardian swimming pool – the striking setting should add heaps of extra charm to this re-imagination of one of Shakespeare’s most-loved plays.
