The Open University is offering Greater Manchester residents the chance to retrain for a role in tech engineering by offering free places on an upcoming digital course. This unmissable opportunity for remote learning is open to anyone who lives in the Greater Manchester region and is currently accepting applications until Thursday 19 November, with the 20-week part-time programme due to start on Monday 30 November 2020.

Developed by The Open University and DXC Technology, this DevsOpsSkills course allows students to fit learning in alongside their daily commitments and is aimed at those who wish to pursue a career in the tech industry. Throughout each online lesson, students will work towards mastering the internationally recognised Python PCEP, Python PCAP, Microsoft Azure Fundamentals and Professional Scrum Master PSMI industry certifications – with the opportunity to apply for a role at DXC Technology once their learning is complete.

This amazing and free opportunity is open to everyone in the Greater Manchester region, with The Open University team encouraging applications from women, a demographic that is currently under-represented in the sector. To find out more and to apply, head here.
