Simon Rimmer’s An Evening To Go With Beer at Robinsons Brewery

Local chef and Sunday morning television staple Simon Rimmer (pictured) has decided to help all those people who find it hard to pair a certain beer with their meal. Joining forces with Stockport’s Robinsons Brewery, he has cut out the middle man by creating beers that go with curry, steak and chicken. WEEEEEEEYYYYYYY LAAAAAAAAAAAAADS! Called simply ‘A Beer To Go With…’, these beverages are now on sale in most supermarkets. Rimmer, who owns Greens in West Didsbury and Earle in Hale, will also be hosting an event at Robinsons Brewery’s Visitors Centre in Stockport. Starting with a drinks and canapés reception, An Evening To Go With Beer offers guests the opportunity to chat with Simon before retiring to the dining room for a food and beer matching experience, combining a third of a pint with each course. Perfect for those beer lovers who never know what to eat with their drink.
