Simply Books has announced details of a special live recording of Daisy Buchanan’s chart-topping podcast You’re Booked this February.
Coming to Stockport’s PINK Studios on Sun 16 Feb, the award-winning journalist, author and broadcaster will be in conversation with Bookstagram’s Gabby Humphreys discussing her brand-new book Read Yourself Happy.
Daisy regularly interviews legendary writers from all over the world about their reading habits. Her new book hones in on the healing power of books as well as using reading to inspire, comfort and fortify.
Alongside her hit podcast, she often appears on Woman’s Hour, Times Radio and Good Morning Britain, and has written several novels including the bestselling Insatiable (Sphere, 2021) and Careering (Sphere 2022) which was adapted by Radio Four and selected for the BBC Sounds Book Club.
On the night, audience members can grab a drink from PINK’s bar before discovering the real meaning of ‘Shelf-help’.
