Local icons Simply Red have announced a special 40th-anniversary tour, including a hometown date at the new Co-op Live arena.
Those who are lucky enough to bag tickets will have to hold their horses for a fair while, though, with the show scheduled for 27 Sep 2025.
Speaking about the announcement, Mick Hucknall said: “We are pleased to be performing at the new Co-op Live arena in my home town of Manchester. I have fond memories of Simply Red performing in Manchester over the years, and we’re happy to be part of this next chapter in Manchester’s great musical history.”
General sale tickets go on sale Thu 21 Sep at 10am.
