Manchester School of Art’s MA Show opens to the public on Friday 22 September. The two-week showcase profiles work by postgraduate students from the School which is located within Manchester Metropolitan University, and launches with private view on Thursday 21 September. Comprised of the UK’s rising stars working in the fields of art, design, media and landscape architecture taking in spaces in the School of Art as well as the RIBA award-winning Benzie Building and the historic Grosvenor Building, which are all part of the MMU campus. The School of Art’s graduates include Routemaster and Olympic designer Thomas Heatherwick, Factory Records artist Peter Saville and Kate Middleton’s wedding dress maker Sarah Burton – so expect to see future stars’ work. And should the abundance of talent leave you inspired, you could see your own work on display next year.
