23 of Greater Manchester’s spectacular green spaces have been shortlisted in this year’s UK Favourite park awards.
Organised by Fields in Trust, a group dedicated to championing and protecting the UK’s vital green spaces, the nominees have all been selected due to the role they play in catering for the needs of local communities.
The award is open to all public green spaces across the UK, and the nominations have been selected by the public, with each inclusion featuring a short description of why it was put forward.
A whopping 23 Greater Manchester parks, ranging from botanical gardens to stunning nature reserves, have made the final list.
