If you’re never sure you’ve whether you’ve got time for a snip and a neaten up before heading out on a big night, then new Deansgate spot One Eight Six could be the bar that answers all of your troubles. Situated in The Old Courthouse in the heart of town, the venue, which made its debut at the end of November, features a barber shop upstairs with a secret cocktail bar lurking beneath, accessible via a two-way mirrored door for all those in the know. As if this weirdly workable pairing of barber shop and bar wasn’t enough, the venue also features a recording studio within its walls alongside a highly photographable bathroom that promises to be every local Instagrammer’s dream. The team behind this new venture also aim to host live music and DJs in this Grade II listed building and are currently open for business.
