Coming to Band On The Wall, Songs of Resistance is a not-for-profit event raising money for human rights organisation Restless Beings and their Gaza appeal.
A number of Manchester based musicians and spoken word artists have joined forces to focus energy on bringing Mancunians together who want to help raise money for people facing impossible circumstances in Palestine.
A collaboration between Band On The Wall, MCR4PAL (whose From Manchester To Palestine Vol 2 compilation is out now on Bandcamp) and The Untold Orchestra, the event celebrates protest music through history.
Hosted by Jenna G with a DJ set from Samrai B2B Chande, you can also catch music and story-telling from the likes of Yemi Bolatiwa, J. Chambers, Mali Hayes, Renee Stormz, Saf See, Third Kulture, Twisted Tubes and Cookie Love.
