Manchester-based record label Sprechen celebrates its 2 year anniversary with the launch of a limited release compilation tape, and a free party at Eastern Bloc Records. It’s a very Mancunian affair, with the best of the city’s scene coming along to help Sprechen celebrate. Neil Diablo of El Diablo’s Social Club, Homoelectric’s Gina Breeze, Alberto Mombelli (Orchid-AM) and Sprechen’s own Chris Massey will each take to the decks to get the good times rolling. Copies of the new cassette will be available on the night, but if your cassette player has long been consigned to an attic, there will be also be a digital download of the Zwei Jahre Sprechen mixtape available too.
Fri 29 Dec, Eastern Bloc Records, 5A Stevenson Square, Manchester, M1 1DN. 5pm – 1.30am, Free entry, www.facebook.com
