A cross between a dinner party and a restaurant, supper clubs are becoming more and more popular as people look for something a little different from their dining experiences. Sophie at Meze and More is a passionate home cook who hosts regular private dinners and supper clubs for friends, family and local Manchester residents. Located in Sale, South Manchester, Sophie creates menus that are inspired by her love of Middle Eastern and Greek cuisines, and rotate quarterly in line with the seasons.
Her menu for the summer supper club will see a welcome cocktail of a nectarine and strawberry bellini, before a summery series of meze style sharing meals. For the main ‘bigger meze’ you can expect dishes such as lamb kofta, harissa roast potatoes with confit garlic, and a feta, pea and mint broad bean salad. To finish, the sweet meze will be an apricot frangipane and a white chocolate and raspberry cheesecake. Don’t meze around, book now.
