Station South is hosting a special evening of wine tasting, cheese and French disco next week, which ticks pretty much all of our boxes.

Happening on Fri 18 Nov, the Levenshulme cycle cafe, bar and restaurant has teamed up with Natasha Pilling of Berkmann Wine Cellars to celebrate the latest batch of Beaujolais Nouveau wine.

A special red wine made from the Gamay Grape, bottles would traditionally be released from France at 12.01 on the third Thursday of November, and distributors would famously race to get the first bottles to different markets around the globe.

Guests will be able to sample the sought-after pour, along with a selection of others from the region under the expert guidance of Natasha, who’ll be talking through five different styles throughout the evening.

Cheese, grapes, house chutney and crackers will be served alongside and the supremely talented Lee Andrews will be spinning a fitting soundtrack of French Disco tunes on the decks from 8pm.

Tickets are £35pp and the festivities get underway at 7pm. Grab your spot using the button below.
