Stay Fresh Fest rides again! Returning to Deaf Institute for a fourth grand outing, the two-floor indie all-dayer is back for more, showcasing the best new music from across the North West and having one huge party in the process. Taking over the Grosvenor Street venue on 29 September, we can look forward to a visit from power couple Lost Under Heaven, the finest “anti-folk” from the eloquently-titled Crywank, laid back soul and R’n’B from [ K S R ], a dose of angry and honest punk from Witch Fever and some excellent gothic vibes from Pearl City. Also on the bill are a pair of raucous rock’n’roll outfits in the shape of Black Pudding and Giant Boys and we can expect indie-pop perfection from Wyoming, along with sets from budding four-piece Chew Magna and singer-songwriter/producer Francis Lung. Tickets are on sale now.

Sat 29 Sep, Deaf Institute, 135 Grosvenor Street, Manchester M1 7HE. Tel: 0161 276 9350, 4pm, £10, www.seetickets.com
