The recently renamed Waterside, a mere hop from Sale tram stop, is the latest venue to host The Book of Darkness & Light, a two-man storytelling experience featuring live music. Heading over the hills from its Yorkshire birthplace, The Book of Darkness & Light – first conceived for Light Night Leeds 2015 – is the combination of three atmospheric gothic stories written and read by Adam Z Robinson (pictured), accompanied by a haunting musical soundtrack composed and performed live on violin by Ben Styles. The back story? Legend has it that, many years ago, a book of strange and terrifying tales was unearthed from deep beneath the streets. Now, you are invited to discover the secrets of The Book of Darkness & Light… if you dare! The Storyteller and The Musician promise an evening of mesmerising spine-tingling tales to spook and scare. Three chilling tales. Two ghostly performers. One thrilling night. For more events at Waterside click here.
