The latest in a series of art exhibitions to take over the window of 285 Deansgate at the Great Northern Warehouse hones in on travel experiences and the different communities encountered whilst exploring the world.

Subtle Rebellion is a photography project by Helen and David Roscoe-Rutter, inspired by the artists’ trip to China twelve years ago and the communities which have impacted their personal lives.

The collection is reflective, interactive and encourages others to think about their own communities and experiences.

With over a decade of experience working together, the creative couple has an impressive portfolio behind them. Helen is a Fine Art Graduate from De Montfort University and also has a successful career in teaching yoga. Whilst David has a degree in Interactive Design from Lincoln University, and works as a freelance designer, photographer and film maker.

Subtle Rebellion is on display until Fri 20 Oct.
