The Manchester music docudrama 24 Hour Party People will be rebuilt at HOME by irreverent broadcaster Richard DeDomenici. His Redux Project revisits locations to create budget shot-for-shot copies of films – including The Matrix, The Bourne Supremacy and, in Manchester last year, Queer As Folk. DeDomenici adapted Redux for BBC4 in a programme that included cultural references to Five Star and the pooping elephant on Blue Peter. The film elements of the 24 Hour Party People: Redux show, co-commissioned by HOME and hÅb, were shot across several Manchester locations in early June 2017. Tickets are on sale now.
