Summer Beer Thing, the sister festival to Indy Man Beer Con, has revealed details of its 2023 festival which will once again be taking over the splendid Kampus garden.

As well as showcasing the latest seasonal and regional beers from some of the UK’s best breweries, for the first time, visitors will also be treated to a selection of ‘festival specials’ – one-off drinks created just for the festival by each of Kampus’ indie bars and restaurants.

Running from Fri 30 Jun – Sun 2 Jul, DJs will be spinning all weekend long and beer taps nestled throughout the garden, with this year seeing a particular focus on fruit and sour pours.

Summer Beer Thing

Announcing the latest edition, the team at Summer Beer Thing say: “Summer Beer Thing started as a showcase festival to get people together in the sunshine and celebrate all the seasonal ales from the UK’s best breweries. Year on year it’s grown and we now have thousands joining us over each weekend.

“Recent years have been really challenging for independent breweries, so it’s vital we get behind them. What better way than a massive summer party? This year will be all about seasonal bevs in the city’s best beer garden at Kampus. We’re going to pack the space with taps and collaborate with all the Kampus independents to offer more food and drink choices than ever before.”

Sumer Beer Thing sessions are as follows:

Fri 30 Jun: 4pm-10pm

Sat 1 Jul: 12pm-10pm

Sun 2 Jul: 1pm-6pm
