Prior to the highly anticipated re-opening of restaurants on Monday May 17 when lockdown restrictions are planned to ease, the Tapas on the Terrace event is an idyllic way to spend time with friends and family for a much-needed return to normality. Offering up classic Mediterranean dishes such as patatas bravas and Catalan chorizo, El Gato Negro’s Spanish cuisine can be found over on King Street, whilst Canto’s Portuguese offerings will be available at the venue on Blossom Street (looking on to Cutting Room Square).

Terraced dining will be available seven days a week from noon until 10pm, with online reservations for El Gato Negro and Canto being available here. The restaurants will be following Government guidelines and will have a maximum party size of six and two households. Walk-in customers will be able to enjoy a drink out on the terrace, or alternatively could take full advantage of the bottle shop available at both venues for home-consumption or take-away from Canto’s delicious deli service.
