Three of the countries finest techno DJs and producers perform this weekend , the latest installment in a series of parties thrown by Manchester’s legendary Eastern Bloc Records. DJs AnD (Inner Surface Music / Hidden Hawaii) and Truss (Perc Trax / Our Circula Sound) are joined by Manchester’s own Setaoc Mass. AnD, performing off the back of a stellar release as part of the recent compilation on the Frozen Border label, are very much of the Regis/Downwards school; hard, relentless pulsating beats broken up only by eerie reverberating and haunting drum patterns. Truss, whose latest release Clytha is out now on Our Circula Sound (featuring a killer remix by Semantica’s Svreca), is on a more dub/acid tip, with fluctuating basslines, groove led rhythms and a more colourful palette. Providing warmup vibes will be local talent, Setaoc Mass.

Frozen Border ‘Minutes In Ice’ and Truss – Clytha are both out now and available from Eastern Bloc Records, Stevenson Sq.
