Manchester’s Temple Songs were a breath of fresh fuzzy pop air when they emerged from bedroom obscurity last year. Spawned from the prolific home recordings of frontman Jolan Lewis, Temple Songs’ melodic Beatles-esque pop is pumped through a vacuum of blistering guitars, arpeggiating bass lines and virtuoso drumming that results in a live show that is both exhilarating and addictive. Support comes from Grind Outs and slacker pop kings Sex Hands.
