The Birmingham Royal Ballet wondrously reimagines Swan Lake at The Lowry

Described by The Observer as ‘one of the world’s finest productions’, Birmingham Royal Ballet’s breathtaking revival of Sir Peter Wright and Galina Samsova’s seminal take on Swan Lake runs from Thu 2 to Sat 4 Mar at The Lowry.

Accompanied by the Royal Ballet Sinfonia performing Tchaikovsky’s timeless works, the Birmingham Royal Ballet’s world-renowned dancers reimagine the iconic tale with a ‘supremely classy’ (Daily Telegraph) performance.

Widely regarded as ballet’s greatest love story, the lavish production follows Prince Siegfried as he discovers his love for Odette – a doomed swan who captivates the prince, leading him to search relentlessly for an end to the curse which keeps her in swan form from dawn to dusk.
