Developed by renowned choreographer Sir Peter Wright, the Birmingham Royal Ballet’s stunning production of The Sleeping Beauty brings another enchanting family-friendly show to Salford, with four performances from Thu 7 – Sat 9 Mar at The Lowry.

Set to triumphant, timeless Tchaikovsky arrangements played live by the esteemed Royal Ballet Sinfonia, the Birmingham Royal Ballet’s sparkling adaptation reimagines and rejuvenates the historic fairytale with show-stopping dance, breathtakingly beautiful backdrops and bewitching spectacle, as an array of talented performers sprinkle balletic majesty on the classic children’s tale of a princess who, cursed by a malevolent fairy, falls into a deep slumber which can only be broken by true love’s kiss.

Promising a mesmerising show for the whole family, The Sleeping Beauty is set to become another decorated cornerstone of the Birmingham Royal Ballet’s ouevre, alongside Sir Peter Wright’s iconic adaptations of Swan Lake and The Nutcracker.
